• To verify the state of the most important elements in the seaming process:
  
  

Rolls	They should rotate easily.
	Their profile should be the appropriate one to the type of can you want to seam.
	Their profile should be without scratches, deformations, wear or damaged areas.
	Their substitution is recommended each 5 million seamings or once a year.




Chucks	They should couple perfectly to the cover, not existing free movement.
	Their perimeter should have neither dents or wear, nor damaged areas
	Their substitution is recommended each 5 million seamings or once a year.




Copying disk	The copying disk should not have worn areas in the perimeter.
	The copying should be uniform in the whole perimeter of the disk.
	It is recommended to copy the disk when peaks are detected in the seamings.




Springs	They should maintain their appropriate elongation properties
	Their substitution is recommended once every two years.




Levers	They should not present looseness either in their turns or in their vertical displacement.
	They should not have fissures, neither cracks.




Chains	The distance among fingers should be the appropriate one.
	They should not present a stretching superior to 1 mm for every 10 chain steps.




Covers separator

It should separate the covers, not producing any mark or damage in them.




General

Verify that the operation in the rest of elements of the seaming machine does not show any anomalies such as: wear, partial breaks, fissures, tightenings, noises, bad state, etc.



• To carry out a preventive maintenance.
